The photo exhibition will present the best photos submitted for a zoo animal photo contest which was announced by FPWC in the beginning of September. The participants of the contest are professional as well as amateur photographers. Their pictures show the animals in many situations: the pictures explore human/animal interaction, animal welfare, and natural beauty of animals.
The photo exhibition during SunChild Festival will combine the best submitted animal photos with historical pictures of the Yerevan Zoo in order to present a vivid impression of the past and present situation in the zoo.
An expert jury will select the winners of the photo contest and the award will be given during the opening ceremony. However, the visitors will also have a chance to participate in the judging by voting for the pictures they like most. After the closing of the exhibition the winner of the visitors' award will be announced and honored with an encouragement prize.
The exhibition takes place in the Yerevan History Museum.
