Zeynep Nihan Yami (b. 1994, Konya, Turkey)
She was accepted to be one of the 72 students of FilmTurkey Project while still attending the high school. This is where she started learning how to make short films. She also had the chance to go to the U.S. to finalize her film as a part of FilmTurkey Project. Zeynep, along with her group partners, wanted to tell the story of little kids, not knowing what is happening around them politically. Because of the success of their film Close Your Eyes Zeynep also had the opportunity to attend the 6th International Youth Media Summit in Belgrade and made another short film on poverty with other students coming from other countries. This year she moved to Istanbul to study at Bosporus University. She is planning on advancing her education on filmmaking and making more films.
