Juan Pablo Donoso Alliende lives and works in Arica, Chile. His practice moves between documentary cinema, artistic research, and territorial practices, with a focus on the relationships between community, memory, and landscape in the Atacama Desert. He is the director of AricaDoc, a platform dedicated to documentary film training, creation, and circulation in northern Chile for over a decade. His current work also expands into drawing and sound as forms of situated research.
