From The Sky

Non-Competition: Environmental Education & Awareness

Gizo Seskuria, a local conservationist, journeys through the Batumi bottleneck - the mountainous channel millions of raptors funnel through each year - to uncover the truth behind the poaching crisis, and the vital role traditional Georgian falconry plays in stopping it. Along the way, he meets hunters, falconers, tourists and local communities who live along the migration path, each with their own relationship to the birds overhead.
