The Academy Gallery, in collaboration with the Arevordi International Environmental Film Festival, warmly invites you to the opening of the exhibition “Indifferent and Different Nature” on October 23 at 5:00 PM.
Ahead of COP17, the Gallery, in collaboration with the Arevordi Festival, organized a series of meetings with journalists, anthropologists, ecologists, and environmentalists to explore the relationship between humans and nature from different perspectives. The exhibition features responses by student and graduate artists of the Academy to the conversations that unfolded during these meetings.
How do we understand nature in a way that leads us to recognize the need to protect its diversity? What is the relationship between humans and nature, and what role does the artist play in it? These are the questions that have taken visual form in this exhibition.
