IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO
The Red-footed Falcon and the Rooks is a peculiar pair. Seemingly there is nothing in common; however the falcons have evolved to rely on the nests of rookeries for breeding. Lately, humans have intervened in the affairs of these birds. A large scale anti-rook persecution campaign was launched in the previous decades, and Red-footed Falcons became collateral damage in the many years of man-rook «wart. This film is about the Red-footed falcons, the Rooks and the follow up work of conservationists trying to restore the peaceful life of these protected birds.

Szabolcs Palfi (b. 1974)
After graduating from the Moholy-Nagy University of Arts and Design he's been a tutor at the University for 3 years and he has directed and produced several animated and documentary films. This film is his second try for nature-doc. Palfi is currently working on his next docu-animation and on his doctoral thesis.
