Director’s Biography

Kim Woodard and Elizabeth Leiter are documentary filmmakers who co-directed the 2020 National Geographic film Jane Goodall: The Hope, which earned Emmy and Critics' Choice Documentary Award nominations . Elizabeth Leiter made her directorial debut with Frontline's The Abortion Divide and has also directed 399: Queen of the Tetons . Kim Woodard is co-founder and co-president of the production company Lucky 8, which creates unscripted content for broadcast and streaming platforms .
