The Norwegian Fjords are one of the most dramatic landscapes in Europe. Billions of herring darken the waters, and orcas and humpback whales feast on the fish banquet. Migrating salmon leap up waterfalls, strange sea pens flash their lights, and colourful sea slugs glow in the deep. Slow-motion and time-lapse photography reveal an extraordinary diversity of life and behaviours rarely seen. It’s an intimate portrait of a unique wilderness – in the dark, icy grip of winter and during the long polar nights of the midnight sun.
