OLD MAN AND THE MOOSE
Harri has been studying moose and their inner natures for more than 30 years. With the passage of time, one particular wetland has caught his attention, the one where the moose gather annually for their courtship rituals. He has given names to more than 40 locations, and come to know numerous moose, whom he encounters on a regular basis. For Harri, moving around with the moose on the wetland, where he converses with them in the "moose language" has become a ritual of sorts.

Joosep Matjus (b. 1984)
Joosep graduated from Baltic Film and Media School, in 2007, as a cinematographer-director and did his MA at the same school, in 2010. Joosep is fully dedicated to the wildlife filmmaking. His student work The Summer Documentary won many prizes in student film category. His BA thesis Rebirth has participated in festivals equally with all masters of the film art. Old Man and the Moose is a personal story about Joosep's grandfather, thus very important to a young filmmaker.
