In this short nature film, we follow the lives of fish, insects, and birds across the changing seasons, from winter’s stillness to summer’s abundance. Since 2022 filmmakers Arthur de Bruin and Dick Harrewijn have teamed up to combine their storytelling experience in documentaries and complementary expertise behind the camera. Arthur de Bruin is an ecologically driven filmmaker with a deep fascination for freshwater ecosystems. His award-winning underwater work reveals the hidden worlds beneath the surface. With his background as one of the most experienced nature cinematographers in the Netherlands, Dick Harrewijn's work is known for its strong visual storytelling and emotional depth, often exploring the complex relationship between humans and nature.
Together, they craft visually rich, story-driven films that bring audiences new perspectives to the natural world.
