THE ICE SCULPTOR
The glacier is dying. They are the springs of life which provide our most essential resource: water. But they are also source of death and destruction. Their power causes landslides of uncontrollable force. Ely Riva, a photographer who spent years documenting man’s relationship with nature, sets off on a solitary journey to discover this new world created by the ice sculptor. The protagonist is the Basodino glacier which, at 3272 metres above sea level, dominates the Alpine foothills.
