VOICES OF PACHAMAMA directed by Louis Lam is a documentary about five Quechua speaking characters from the Andes Mountain of Peru and their ways of connecting to nature, respecting their motherland, and enjoying resources in a responsible way. This film indirectly reflects the disconnection, wastefulness, and selfishness of modernity as well as destruction from global warming.

Director’s Biography -Dr Louis Lam

Dr Louis Lam is a medical expeditionist, cultural anthropologist, and a documentary film maker who travels all over the world to tell inspirational stories about the local people and culture, their views about themselves versus the world, as well as current issues that reflect much wider influences. He has made films in over 50 countries in all continents and has produced a 3 season series with 17 theme episodes named Exploring Planet, each one in a specific country. He has also produced numerous food, diving, and health episodes as well as short art and fashion films.
